Award-winning novelist

​​​​​ NZ Grant is a former professional hunter, bodyguard, merchant seaman, film and television stunt man and extra, voice-over actor and radio producer/copywriter, winner of CLIO and IBA awards.

He has had 14 books published in print under a variety of nom de plumes - these dependant on the genre - and also several e-books
under his various names.

NZ Grant has also written factual books on euthanasia
(A Long Goodnight) and medical misadventure (We Just
Want Our Daughter to Live).

Writing as Andrew Grant he was the winner of the
Richard Webster Popular Fiction Award for his US-based
police procedural Mesquite Smoke Dance.

His first novel Hawks, the fictionalised tale of his time
as a helicopter-borne deer hunter in New Zealand’s wild
southern wilderness has been sold as a movie property
to a UK-based film production company.

Another novel, Death in The Kingdom, a thriller set in Thailand, is currently under consideration by a Singapore-based production company.
